This role will help administer a member advocacy platform, respond to user questions, and assist with campaign setup and coordination, The intern will work closely with Science Policy staff and other team members to support 4-6 advocacy campaigns per year.\n\nEssential duties\n\nSupport day-to-day administration of the advocacy platform used by members and certified professionals,\n\nAssist with setting up and launching advocacy campaigns to help members contact their congressional representatives.\n\nRespond to basic user questions about how to use the system,\n\nRoute subject-matter questions to Science Policy staff.\n\nHelp maintain campaign materials, instructions, and web content related to advocacy actions,\n\nTrack campaign activity and assist with report\n\nPhysical Demands\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job, Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions, While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell.
