The Radiation Therapist will work closely with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, dosimetrists, oncology nurses, and other members of the cancer-care team to deliver safe, accurate, and compassionate radiation therapy. Candidates must hold current ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy (ARRT-T), current BLS certification, and the appropriate state licensure or eligibility required to practice in Arizona.\nKey ResponsibilitiesDeliver radiation therapy treatments according to physician prescriptions and approved treatment plans.\nAccurately position patients for radiation treatments.\nOperate linear accelerators and other radiation therapy equipment safely and efficiently.\nVerify patient identity, treatment site, treatment parameters, and prescribed dose before treatment.\nFollow established radiation safety procedures and treatment protocols.\nMonitor patients throughout treatment and promptly report changes in clinical condition.\nMaintain precise patient positioning and reproducibility between treatment sessions.\nAssist with simulation and treatment-planning procedures as assigned.\nUse immobilization devices and positioning equipment appropriately.\nReview treatment documentation for accuracy before delivering therapy.\nRecord treatment information accurately in the patient's medical record.\nMaintain timely and complete documentation using Epic.\nEducate patients regarding treatment procedures, positioning, expected side effects, and safety considerations.\nProvide compassionate support to patients undergoing cancer treatment.\nCollaborate with radiation oncologists, physicists, dosimetrists, nurses, and other clinical staff.\nParticipate in quality-assurance and radiation-safety activities.\nFollow infection-control, patient-safety, and regulatory standards.\nIdentify equipment or treatment concerns and elevate them to the appropriate clinical or technical personnel.\nRequired QualificationsCandidates must haveMinimum 1 year of Radiation
