This kind of work typically includes the configuration and troubleshooting of complex network, security, and hosted services and the development of supporting documentation.\nResponsibilities\nProvide remote service delivery support and administration\nMay provide on-site datacenter equipment installation\nWork directly with LightEdge Solutions clients to determine project requirements\nIdentify, correct, and advise on incidents related to client services\nAccept escalated service requests and incidents from team peers\nEffectively communicate project status to Project Managers and client\nCreation of environment design based on sales solution proposal\nDeployment of network, systems, software, and security to fulfill customer contracts\nComplete all design documentation, including equipment configuration, quickly and completely following a project completion\nEnsure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately\nProvide quality assurance review for service delivery team peers before service release\nContribute toward collaborative sessions during interdepartmental discussions\nContinuous service delivery innovation and improvement\nMinimum 40 hours/week required\nOther duties as assigned\nEducation And Experience\nAssociate degree in Information Technology, a related discipline, relevant certifications, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience\n3+ years and a general understanding in one or more of the following areas of expertise:\nNetworking – routers, switches, etc.\nSecurity – hardware & software firewalls, load balancers, etc.\nVirtualization – VMware (preferred), HyperV, Kubernetes, etc.\nStorage / Backups – image / agent based, iSCSI provisioning, etc.\nExperience working in a datacenter or managed service provider\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills\nExperience working and opening trouble tickets with vendors and / or telecom carriers\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills for work in a collaborative team environment\nCapable of managing multiple projects simultaneously\nAbility to multi-task and operate with minimal supervision, adjusting priorities accordingly\nAble to maintain professional demeanor under stress\nDemonstrated willingness to learn and adapt to changes in technology\n\nWith over 20 years in business, LightEdge offers a full stack of best-in-class IT services delivering flexibility, security, and control.
