Provide for project management, O&M, development, modernization, enhancements, software development, legislative changes, and developmental O&M upgrades.Responsibilities:IBM z/OS assembly language: Assembly instructions, addressing modes, data manipulation techniques, and job control processing.Provide support with legacy code business rules extraction and code conversion.CA Endevor Software Change Manager (SCM) tool: version control, release management, security and access control, and integration of Endevor with other development tools.BMC Control-M: automating job scheduling, managing workflows, and monitoring job execution.IBM mainframe architecture: storage hierarchy (registers, memory, I/O), system calls (SVCs), and interrupt handling mechanisms.Legacy mainframe data formats: Operate in DB2, QSAM, and VSAM data formats.Target Java code: object-oriented programming principles, Java syntax, libraries, frameworks, and best practices.Translate assembly logic to modern constructs such as mapping assembly instructions to equivalent Java code using loops, conditional statements, functions, and object-oriented design patterns.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related fieldExperience with IRS Core Record Layout (CRL), QSAM Data FormatsPreferred/Nice to Have Skills:Experience with IRS Individual Master File (IMF) or Business Master File (BMF) highly desirable.Clearance:Active IRS MBI Clearance High DesirableRecently ranked as high as #3 among HUBZone Companies in a GOVWIN survey, DTI offers a dynamic environment for those passionate about impactful projects, community involvement, and contributing to a top-ranking Federal project support team.At DTI, we balance continuous growth and innovation with a strong dedication to corporate social responsibility.
