The desired candidate will be a TPS graduate, a pilot with flight test and flight test instruction experience and have an engineering degree. The candidate must have extensive working knowledge of flight test tasks and be familiar with the level of support required as defined below: Develop course content for AFRC’s “Flight Test 101,” which will accommodate training for internal and external stakeholders. Training will be tailored to engineers, mission controllers, PIs and research teams. Consider future partnerships or data sharing between the Air Force 412 th and Test Pilot School. Deliverables will include the following:\nPrimary near-term tasks\nDevelop Flight Test 101: to include but not limited to:\nTest plan template\nTest report template\nTest card template\nDevelop CRM training course for QNC\nDevelop Control room training\nIncorporate simulated flight test\nDevelop Briefing/Debriefing and control room etiquette course\nSecondary tasks\nInstruct Flight Test 101: to include but not limited to:\nAssist PI to develop test plan\nAssist PI to develop test report\nAssist PI to develop test card\nInstruct CRM training course for QNC\nInstruct Control room training\n● Incorporate simulated flight test\nInstruct Briefing/Debriefing and control room etiquette course\nShepard PIs through the flight test process\nJob Requirements\nSupport AFRC’s development, implementation and execution of training flight test engineers and aircrew.\nSupport PI’s through the flight test process.\nSupport the center chief engineer and TMP\nEducation:\nTest Pilot School graduate.\nPilot with flight test and flight test instruction experience.\nEngineer degree or equivalent relevant experience.\nWe are equal opportunity/affirmative action employers, committed to diversity in the workplace.
