Our continued commitment to innovation ensures we are positioned to deliver superior solutions for our customers, partners, and communities.\n\nAbout the Role\n\nWe are looking for a hands-on embedded Linux or Android systems engineer to support development, testing, and integration of a tiered memory system.\n\nThis role is a good fit for someone who enjoys low-level systems work, is comfortable around real hardware, and wants to grow deeper into Linux kernel and Android platform development. You will work closely with senior engineers and help implement features, run experiments, collect data, and debug device issues.\n\nPrimary responsibilities\nBuild and flash Android kernel and platform images.\nSupport development of memory, swap, zram/zswap, or platform configuration features.\nRun experiments on real devices and collect logs, counters, and performance data.\nWrite or maintain shell and Python scripts for setup, testing, and analysis.\nDebug issues using ADB, fastboot, dmesg, logcat, sysfs, and procfs.\nHelp maintain device setup instructions and validation checklists.\nImplement well-scoped kernel, userspace, or automation changes under senior guidance.\nMinimum qualifications\n3–6 years of embedded Linux, Android, firmware, BSP, or systems software experience.\nBS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience\nStrong C programming fundamentals.\nShell scripting experience; Python is a plus.\nExperience working with real hardware.\nFamiliarity with Linux kernel concepts such as drivers, sysfs, procfs, memory, block devices, or device trees.\nComfortable using source control, build systems, and command-line tools.\nPreferred qualifications\nAndroid platform or Android kernel exposure.\nADB/fastboot and Android image flashing experience.\nzram, zswap, swap, memory pressure, or LMKD exposure.\nUFS, eMMC, or NAND familiarity.\nExperience writing test scripts or parsing logs.\nAbout Lexar Enterprise\n\nBuilding upon the foundation and the credibility of the well-established Lexar brand, Lexar Enterprise designs and manufactures memory and storage solutions that include embedded storage, mobile memory, solid-state drives, and memory modules in commercial, industrial, and automotive grades.
