Anchor Care and Rehabilitation Center -Position: Housekeeping AideFacility: Anchor Care and Rehabilitation CenterLocation: Hazlet, New JerseyShift: Part-Time | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PMPay Rate: $16.32 per hourAbout the RoleAnchor Care and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Aide to join our team. In this role, you'll help create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and staff. Your work will have a direct impact on the comfort and well-being of those we serve.Key ResponsibilitiesSweep, mop, scrub, and dust floors.Clean and sanitize toilets, basins, resident beds, and furniture.Vacuum and dust equipment, computers, and phones.Maintain cleanliness in resident rooms, nurses' stations, visitor bathrooms, and nourishment/medication refrigerators under nursing supervision.Empty wastebaskets regularly and restock rooms with necessary supplies.Perform high-dusting, special cleaning projects, and assist in preparations for regulatory audits.Report repair needs promptly and follow safety and dress code policies.Assist with orienting new staff and take part in performance improvement activities.Respond to pages and perform emergency duties as needed to support resident welfare and facility operations.QualificationsExperience: At least 2 years in the healthcare field; nursing home experience strongly preferred.Skills: Knowledge of cleaning equipment, supplies, and proper use of PPE.Why Join Us?At Anchor Care and Rehabilitation Center, we are committed to excellence in resident care and to fostering a supportive workplace.
