The primary focus of an Analyst is to gain a fundamental and foundational understanding of what it means to be a consultant at a services firm and particularly at The Clearing, including learning the methodologies, techniques, and tools that The Clearing uses and at the expected quality level.\nRequirements:\n\nWhat You’ll Do\nDevelop high-quality client-facing deliverables with established project quality standards, and Solution-based solutions/products, collaborating with other team members to finalize; demonstrate strong attention to detail and effective written communication skills\nSupport the design, coordination, and logistics of external and internal meetings; apply active listening skills and own knowledge capture responsibility during meetings; occasionally co-facilitate meetings\nSupport and/or lead research, data gathering, and analysis to inform the development of client recommendations and solutions; clearly synthesize and present results\nShowcase critical thinking skills to evaluate needs, make initial recommendations, and partner with team members to refine thinking and approaches to client challenges\nDemonstrate sensitivity to teammate and client strengths and weaknesses to create a sense of belonging and to value individual contributions\nWhat You’ll Bring\nBachelor’s degree\nMinimum of one year of professional work experience, preferably in a professional services\nor client-facing environment\nProficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, presentation creation tools, and internet research tools; familiarity with Google Suite is a plus\nWillingness and ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance and/or a positive\nsuitability determination by completing necessary background check investigations, to perform client work\nWillingness and ability to travel to client sites in the surrounding DC and Baltimore metro areas; occasional travel outside of these regions could be expected (5%)\nCritical thinking/problem-solving skills, attention to detail, organizational and time-management skills, and effective written and verbal communication skills\nFlexible and adaptable mindset to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced, high-stakes client environments\nDesired skills, experiences, and certifications: change management, strategic planning, strategic communication, program management, and/or organizational design experience; PMP and/or Change Management certification (ex. Actual compensation and starting salaries are determined based on various factors, including the education, experience, knowledge, skills, certifications, and clearance level of the candidate and internal equity. Once at The Clearing, movement through pay bands is based on performance. Base-annual salary is just one component of The Clearing’s total compensation philosophy and approach.
