Join our NTN Test Lab team as a Test Engineer and play a key role in ensuring the performance, and reliability of world-class bearing solutions. The test engineer will have a wide variety of responsibilities with a primary focus on product testing. This is a highly hands-on role with access to a variety of testing machines as well as advanced metrology equipment. Individuals with a solid engineering background, strong mechanical aptitude, are self-motivated, and can solve problems will be successful in this role.\nResponsibilities:\nManage test projects from inception to completion. This may include determining the optimal way to achieve goals, developing a test plan, designing tooling, troubleshooting issues, collecting data, and presenting results and conclusions in detailed formal written reports.\nUtilize advanced metrology equipment to review tested bearings, confirm accuracy of developed tooling, and other purposes.\nCollaborate with engineers, metallurgists, and technicians regarding a wide range of bearing-related projects\nManage relationships with outside vendors and suppliers related to tooling and services\nAll other duties as assigned\nSkills/Experience:\nBachelor's degree in engineering (BSME preferred)\n1-5 years' experience in a hands-on engineering role. (consideration given for internships)\nUses engineering principles to solve problems and develop appropriate action plans\nPossess solid communication skills; both written and interpersonal\nCollaborates with peers and supervisor for guidance. Escalates problems and roadblocks as they occur\nExperience with 3D CAD software\nHas strong mechanical aptitude\nExperience doing hands on mechanical work and is comfortable utilizing a variety of tools\nAbility to work independently on multiple simultaneous projects and drive each to formal conclusion\nRequirements:\nThe actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
