SummaryWe are seeking a Manager, EHS to lead safety efforts across a multi-state region. This is a hands-on, field-based role responsible for driving safety performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and partnering closely with operations across active job sites. This is not a remote or hybrid role. The position requires a consistent presence in the Nashville office when not traveling, along with significant time spent in the field. The role supports a diverse set of operations across multiple business lines, requiring adaptability and the ability to quickly learn different environments.Travel & TerritoryApproximately 50% travel, including a mix of overnight and local/day travel. Travel includes both driving and occasional flights. Coverage includes the Tennessee Valley, Ohio Valley, and Gulf Coast regions.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with branch and field leadership to promote and implement effective safety programs across assigned locationsAnticipate, identify, and evaluate hazardous conditions and work practicesDevelop and implement hazard control programs and monitor effectivenessConduct job site inspections, safety observations, and auditsFacilitate and deliver safety training programs for employees and supervisorsEnsure compliance with OSHA, DOT, MSHA, EPA, NFPA, and other applicable regulationsInvestigate incidents and accidents, including documentation and root cause analysisPartner with Risk Management and medical providers on workers' compensation and return-to-work programsInterface with customers on safety programs, initiatives, and compliance requirementsAdminister emergency response procedures and support safety program execution at the branch levelField-Based ExpectationsThis is a highly hands-on role requiring regular presence in active industrial job sites.
