The successful candidate will work within the Optimizely (formerly Episerver) Digital Experience Platform, partnering with the client technical teams to build responsive, accessible, secure, and scalable web solutions. The role will develop reusable components, optimize existing applications, implement best practices, and support the delivery of enterprise digital initiatives.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain custom templates, components, and themeable blocks within the Optimizely Digital Experience Platform.\nDevelop responsive user interfaces using React, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Webpack, and related front-end technologies.\nAnalyze, troubleshoot, refactor, and optimize existing applications for performance, accessibility, and maintainability.\nCollaborate with UX designers, business analysts, content authors, and developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.\nParticipate in Agile planning, sprint ceremonies, code reviews, and release management using Azure DevOps.\nImplement CI/CD best practices and support automated testing.\nEnsure compliance with the client coding standards, accessibility (WCAG), security, and enterprise architecture guidelines.\nProduce technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to the client staff.\nProvide technical leadership and front-end development best practices.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.\nMinimum five (5) years of professional front-end development experience.\nExperience developing solutions using Optimizely/Episerver Digital Experience Platform.\nStrong expertise in React, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Microsoft Azure, and Azure DevOps.\nWorking knowledge of C#, ASP.NET MVC (Razor), SQL Server, Continuous Integration, and automated testing.\nExcellent analytical, debugging, communication, and documentation skills.\nAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively within Agile teams.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting public sector or K-12 organizations.\nExperience with SEO optimization, web accessibility (WCAG 2.2), and performance tuning.\nExperience integrating analytics and digital marketing technologies.\nExperience mentoring developers and contributing to application architecture.\n\nNotes:\nThe expected works hours are -30-40 hours a week (9 am to 5pm, CST preferred, but flexible), fully remote, with secure access to the client\n\nVIVA is an equal opportunity employer.
