In this role, you will play a key part in planning, designing, and implementing innovative audio-visual solutions across a variety of projects. You will collaborate closely with multiple departments to ensure seamless integration and high-quality outcomes.\r\nLocation: Ashburn, VA\r\nTravel: Up to 50% annually\r\nThe position is primarily in-office, with an expectation of being in the office a minimum of 4 days per week, except when on-site project work is required.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nPrepare AV design packages, perform equipment inventory, install and verify systems\r\nCreate floor plan diagrams, room and rack elevations, and audio, video, and control line diagrams\r\nPrepare bill of materials that includes hardware, materials, wall plates, and cabling, and provide estimates for services for internal review\r\nProvide specifications and detailed schematics for AV system hardware and network designs\r\nConduct research, stay up to date, and collaborate with manufacturers, vendors, and colleagues in the design, planning, and implementation of AV systems\r\nProvide program reports to analyze system capabilities to define gaps and meet users' requirements\r\nSpecialize in audio digital signal processors, video over IP, networks, video conferencing, web conferencing, matrix switchers, and complex systems\r\nMaintain technical expertise in all areas of AV systems, including network, hardware, software, codecs, audio video switchers, AV control systems, AV devices, including monitors, microphones, cameras, mixers, amplifiers, VTC gateways, VTC bridges, video streamers, etc.\r\nReview and validate the Bill of Materials for compliance with standards and ensure completeness of required components\r\nCommunicate directly with customers, management, sales, and project managers\r\nMaintain strict confidentiality of all sensitive and proprietary information\r\nConsistently adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards of conduct\r\nFoster effective communication and collaboration with department heads, managers, colleagues, and customers\r\nCommunicate information clearly and concisely, presenting ideas and reporting facts in a professional manner\r\nManage personal workflow efficiently, proactively resolving issues and seeking guidance from supervisors when necessary\r\nDemonstrate reliability by meeting established attendance and punctuality standards\r\nComply with all safety and security protocols to ensure a safe working environment\r\nPerform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support team and organizational goals\r\nQualifications / Skills / Knowledge\r\nMinimum 3 years of AV Engineer experience\r\nProficiency with standard Microsoft tools such as Excel, Word, and Outlook\r\nAutoCAD and/or Visio drawing capabilities\r\nAudio DSP programming and gain structure (Biamp, Extron DMP, QSC Core)\r\nCrestron and Extron Nomenclature\r\nIn depth experience in the analysis, design, implementation and support of medium to large scale AV projects\r\nExcellent oral and written communications skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical individuals\r\nWhat Sets You Apart\r\nWho We Are\r\nDSI Tech is a Cisco Partner, generating over \\$228 million in revenue annually.
