This is a client-facing engineering role for builders who can translate ambiguous needs into working software, iterate quickly with end users, and drive solutions from prototype to production with strong engineering discipline.\n\nYou'll collaborate across various delivery teams while embedded with customers, helping ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned to mission outcomes.\n\nThis position is located in Arlington, VA.\nYour future duties and responsibilities:\nDevelop, test, and deploy Foundry data pipelines, transforms, and data products.\nBuild and enhance Foundry applications/workflows aligned to user needs.\nIntegrate Foundry with external systems via APIs/connectors; support ingestion, modeling, and governance.\nCollaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into technical designs.\nTroubleshoot, optimize, and monitor performance and data quality.\nParticipate in code reviews; document solutions and follow best practices.\nRequired qualifications to be successful in this role:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.\n38+ years delivering software solutions in customer or production environments (implementation, consulting, SRE/DevOps, platform engineering, or full-stack development).\nStrong coding ability in one or more of: Python, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript (React), SQL; ability to learn new stacks quickly.\nExperience integrating systems via REST APIs, eventing/messaging, and working with structured/unstructured data sources.\nHands-on experience deploying and operating applications: environments, configuration, troubleshooting, performance, and reliability.\nStrong customer-facing communication skills: can run technical discovery sessions, explain tradeoffs, and drive alignment across stakeholders.\nDemonstrated ability to work independently in ambiguous situations and deliver iteratively.\nDesired qualifications/non-essential skills required:\n\nAI implementation experience: LLM integrations, RAG patterns, vector search, prompt/tool orchestration, model evaluation, and safety/guardrails.\nMicrosoft ecosystem experience: Azure, Power Platform (Power Apps/Automate/BI), Dataverse, Microsoft Fabric, or Microsoft 365 integrations.\nCloud & platform experience: containers, microservices, CI/CD, IaC (Terraform/Bicep), observability (logging/metrics/tracing).\nFamiliarity with federal/security expectations (e.g., Zero Trust concepts, RBAC, audit logging, secure SDLC).\nCertifications: Azure Developer, Azure Solutions Architect, Security-related certs (a plus).\n\nCGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.
