They serve as a vital link between residents and services, creating value through targeted initiatives that address community needs. This role requires an innovative, proactive individual who excels in an autonomous environment, driving positive long-term outcomes through an understanding of the communities in which they serve.\r\nWhat you'll do\r\nImplement core programs and services, which include connecting, engaging, and empowering residents across four initiatives: Economic Stability, Education for Youth & Families, Health & Wellness, and Community Building.\r\nCoordinate and oversee an after-school program and teen program encompassing homework assistance and educational enrichment activities.\r\nDevelop & maintain partnerships with local providers.\r\nPlan & facilitate community-building events that foster safe and meaningful relationships between community members.\r\nProvide residents with information & referrals to access community resources and services.\r\nPublish monthly newsletters and calendar of events\r\nWhat you'll bring\r\nFour years of experience in multi-family housing or related fields such as social services or community outreach; or a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Human Services, or related field.\r\nExperience in\r\nafter-school programs or educational settings for youth\r\nserving diverse populations, demonstrating cultural competency and community awareness\r\nProficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, Publisher, Outlook). Basic with Adobe Acrobat, Canva, Salesforce, Concur.\r\nStrong time management, administrative, and organizational skills.\r\nSelf-starter, multi-tasker, and strong communicator\r\nThe physical activity of this position includes minimal bending, walking, kneeling, reaching, and step climbing. Able to lift up to 30 pounds, which includes large boxes of food for a supplemental food distribution program.\r\nValid Driver's License, clean driving record, and current automobile insurance\r\nCPR & First Aid certified (or obtained within 90 days of hire)\r\nSuccessful completion of background check\r\nThe details\r\nThis is a full-time (32 hrs/wk), non-exempt position and provides services at two sites.\r\nSchedule: Monday through Thursday, 9am-5:30pm. Ability to work occasional Saturday for an event. Schedule subject to change.\r\nLocation: Richmond Village – CA and Pullman – WA\r\nWage: $28/hr\r\nBenefits offered: Health insurance, dental insurance, term life insurance, and an Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
