You will work closely with cryptographers, security researchers, and engineers to implement secure protocols, optimize performance, and ensure system reliability.\n\nThis role requires a strong understanding of Rust, cryptography, and systems programming, along with a passion for building robust and secure software.\nJob Responsibility\nDesign and implement cryptographic algorithms, protocols, and libraries in Rust.\nDevelop secure, efficient, and maintainable code for cryptographic systems, including encryption, digital signatures, zero-knowledge proofs, and secure multi-party computation.\nOptimize code for performance, memory safety, and scalability in resource-constrained environments.\nCollaborate with the Crypto/Blockchain Team to integrate cryptographic primitives into larger systems such as: blockchain platforms, secure communication tools, and privacy-preserving applications.\nConduct code reviews, write unit tests, and ensure adherence to secure coding practices.\nDebug and resolve complex issues related to cryptographic implementations and system performance.\nStay current with advancements in cryptography, the Rust ecosystem, and security best practices.\nContribute to the design and documentation of cryptographic systems and APIs.\nWork cross-functionally to ensure seamless integration of cryptographic components into production systems.\nJob Requirements\nBachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Mathematics, Cryptography, or a related field (or equivalent experience).\n3+ years of professional software engineering experience, with 2+ years of hands-on Rust development.\nStrong understanding of cryptographic concepts such as; mathematical algebraic skills, symmetric/asymmetric encryption, hash functions, digital signatures, and zero-knowledge proofs.\nProficiency in systems programming, including memory management, concurrency, and low-level optimizations.\nExperience with cryptographic libraries (e.g., OpenSSL, libsodium, or Rust-specific libraries like ring, rust-crypto).\nFamiliarity with secure coding practices and vulnerability mitigation techniques.\nKnowledge of blockchain technologies, distributed systems, or privacy-preserving protocols is a plus.\nStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\nExcellent communication and team collaboration skills.\nPreferred Skills\nExperience with formal verification or testing of cryptographic implementations.\nFamiliarity with Rust frameworks and tools (e.g., Cargo, Tokio, Actix).\nKnowledge of mathematically algebraic skills\nKnowledge of post-quantum cryptography or quantum-resistant algorithms.\nContributions to open-source projects, especially in Rust or cryptography.\nExperience with performance profiling and optimization in Rust.\nBenefits\nWe offer medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, STD, and LTD insurance programs, 401K Plan, and Paid Time Off.
