The engineer will work closely with cross-organizational leadership, stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to ensure consistent platform reliability and adherence to Enterprise integration standards.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nProvide architectural leadership, technical direction, and hands-on implementation expertise to ensure a secure, scalable, and high-performing Maximo Application Suite (MAS) environment\nLead installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting activities for MAS\nLead technical design of Enterprise integration architecture supporting NASA Enterprise systems\nLead implementation and configuration of secure API management and authentication standards\nDefine API messages, error handling, and monitoring strategies for integrations\nPerform complex application configuration and develop automation scripts using Python, XML, JavaScript, and JSON\nDevelop and maintain complex scripting for MAS configurations across multiple environments\nDevelop and maintain reports using BIRT and Microsoft Power BI, including Enterprise (multi-org, multi-site) reporting and data segregation enforcement via Row-Level Security (RLS)\nPerform data modeling to support Business Intelligence (BI) reporting needs\nConfigure and support Maximo Mobile, including SSO authentication implementations\nCreate application configurations in Maximo Mobile using the Maximo Application Framework (MAF) Configuration application to modify MAS configurations\nManage and support Maximo Application Suite user synchronization with Microsoft Entra ID\nSupport OpenShift Container Platform within Enterprise Maximo deployments\nWork closely with cross-organizational leadership, stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to ensure consistent platform reliability and adherence to Enterprise integration standards\nPrepare and present project-related information to executive, leadership, and center teams\nUtilize Jira Service Management (or comparable ticketing systems) to manage and track technical issues and service requests\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field\nMinimum 8+ years of Maximo technical engineering experience\nDemonstrated expertise in Maximo architecture, the Maximo Integration Framework (MIF), automation scripting, and REST API integrations\nExpertise with reporting needs (BIRT, Power BI) and data modeling\nAdvanced Linux experience, including scripting, system operations, and performance management\nHands-on experience with MAS installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and patching\nStrong understanding of OpenShift, containerization, and enterprise MAS deployments\nWorking knowledge of Maximo Mobile, SSO solutions, and MAF configuration\nExperience developing automation scripts using Python, XML, JavaScript, and JSON\nFamiliarity with secure API management and authentication frameworks\nStrong written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to interface with cross-functional technical and leadership teams\nExperience using Jira Service Management or similar platforms for issue tracking\nAbility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience supporting NASA or other federal enterprise Maximo environments\nExperience designing and maintaining Enterprise-level integration architectures\nFamiliarity with MAS licensing models, user synchronization methods, or large-scale environment deployments\nExperience with performance tuning, high-availability configurations, or MAS observability tools\nExperience with IBM TRIRIGA and/or Maximo Real Estate and Facilities (MREF) module\nIBM Maximo Certifications: Certified Deployment Professional or IBM Certified Administrator\nBenefits of working at Brown Technologies Incorporated\nBrown is proud to support the health and wellbeing of the people we employ.
