Join a Front Office Technology Team Building Python Solutions for Global Derivatives Trading\r\nHybrid (2-3 days a week) in Midtown NYC with salaries up to 170,000 USD depending on experience and knowledge.\r\nThe qualified candidate will be working in the IT Derivatives team designing and implementing Python solutions to Front Office applications. The applications will make use of vendor software, such as PyXLL, Xltrail, QuestDB, CityVision, and Databricks. The work will also include supporting existing applications to facilitate daily processes of the Front Office Trading Desk.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nDesign, build and configure Python applications to meet business process and application requirements\r\nWork with multiple business teams including trading and quantitative analysts\r\nProvide work estimates as needed\r\nDesign coding architecture\r\nMaintain and improve code quality using static & dynamic code analyses, security vulnerability scans, code coverage and CI/CD pipeline gating\r\nParticipate in all phases of software delivery lifecycle from analysis through support\r\nMandatory Skills\r\nExperienced Python Developer\r\nExperience with Python environment installation in Windows and Linux\r\nExperience with any Compute platforms: Azure Databricks (preferred) / Snowflake / GCP\r\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management\r\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills\r\nAbility to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment\r\nProactive, self-motivated, and team oriented\r\nPrevious experience/knowledge with trading/fixed income/strats\r\nBachelor degree in Mathematics, Engineering or Computer Science\r\nNice-to-Have Skills\r\n.NET, C#\r\nREST API (including Enterprise Authentication and Authentication)\r\nMS SQL Server and/or Sybase experience\r\nFixed Income\r\nStrats\r\nSeniority level\r\nMid-Senior level\r\nEmployment type\r\nFull-time\r\nJob function\r\nConsulting\r\nIndustries\r\nIT Services and IT Consulting\r\nInterested in shaping the tools that power Front Office decision-making?
