{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"3a7d8bf04be979ea493c654a","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/3a7d8bf04be979ea493c654a","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/3a7d8bf04be979ea493c654a","title":"Security Shift Supervisor","description":"The Security Shift Supervisor is responsible for the loss prevention functions of the casino complex, including company assets on the casino floor and simulcast area, guest and team member security and safety.\n\nEnsures all applicable laws, rules and regulations of the company are firmly and fairly enforced.\n\nDirectly responsible for supervision of all investigations performed by direct reports.\n\nResponsible for the efficient operation of the Security Department shift assigned.\n\nAssists the Security Shift Manager in training, selecting, developing, scheduling and directing the Security staff.\n\nEnforces performance standards for tasks, jobs and roles of their team members and aligns individual performance expectations with organizational goals.\n\nDisciplines team members and issues corrective actions.\n\nImplements systems to ensure compliance with federal, state and company rules and regulations.\n\nIdentifies and controls risks and threats to the safety and assets of the company, guests, and team members.\n\nDetains persons for probable cause for the purpose of notifying law enforcement and/or state gaming officials.\n\nControls and maintains company-wide key controls throughout the property while on duty.\n\nAssigns Security personnel to specific assigned duties as needed.\n\nPerforms physical escorts and/or arrests of non-compliant guests.\n\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\n\nRequirements\n\nMust be 21 years of age or older.\n\nAssociate degree in related field; or equivalent work experience.\n\n3 years of related work experience in Security field.\n\n1 year in a supervisory capacity.\n\nExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail.\n\nStrong supervisory and leadership skills.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.\n\nMust be able to pass a fit for duty physical with an occupational health professional.\n\nMust be capable of carrying out the physical responsibilities associated with a Security Officer role.\n\nPrevious experience in a casino/hotel resort preferred.\n\nMust be able to pass a drug test that includes testing for THC.\n\nAbility to provide proof of a valid California driver’s license.\n\nAbility to operate company vehicles.\n\nIs this position responsible for selling, serving, or dist ributing alcoholic beverages or do they have comp authority? No\n\nGaming License Required? Yes,process facilitated by the Company\n\nOther Certifications?
