You'll have the opportunity to work with the latest technologies, tools, and processes, helping to drive forward our technical and architectural goals.\n\nResponsibilities\nContribute to the development, testing, and deployment of high-quality code across the data platform\nCollaborate actively with global teams across multiple time zones, ensuring alignment and continuity\nSupport platform capabilities for data cataloging, analytics, and ETL/ELT pipelines\nAssist in identifying performance bottlenecks and implementing improvements with guidance from senior engineers\nBuild and support services that handle structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data (audio, video, text, images)\nParticipate in on-call rotation for production support and help troubleshoot critical issues\nContribute to platform documentation and maintain clarity for internal consumers\nPresent work in team demos and represent engineering contributions in internal discussions\nFollow best practices in testing, monitoring, and deployment to ensure platform reliability\nContinuously learn and apply new tools, patterns, and technologies in the data platform space\n\nRequirements\n3+ years of experience developing scalable, distributed systems\nProficient in at least one language: Scala, Java, or Python\nExperience building or maintaining cloud-based applications/services (AWS preferred, GCP is a plus)\nExposure to event streaming platforms such as Kafka, Kinesis, or SQS and Data Ingestion\nFamiliarity with distributed data processing frameworks like Apache Spark or Apache Flink\nUnderstanding of CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and observability best practices\nComfortable working in a globally distributed team\nWillingness to participate in production on-call rotations\n\nNice to Have\nExposure to Databricks or similar unified data platforms\nExperience working with unstructured data formats such as images, video, or audio\nFamiliarity with data cataloging, lineage, and metadata tools\nExperience supporting platform-scale features such as ETL frameworks, analytics services, or data quality checks\nKnowledge of GCP or multi-cloud environments\nCuriosity and enthusiasm for tackling scalability and reliability challenges\n\nYour First 90 Days\n30 Days: Ramp up on our tech stack, development tools, and team workflows. Deliver your first minor enhancement or bug fix and sync with global peers.\n60 Days: Begin contributing to core platform features. Participate in code/design reviews and propose improvements.\n90 Days: Own medium-scope features end-to-end.
