Delivery Associate - WalkerRoman Empire Logistics is looking for enthusiastic, team players to deliver packages with a smile to customers doors.Shifts range between 8-10 hours per day and shifts are available 7 days per week. You can plan on working about 4-5 days a week. Must be flexible. Must be available to work weekends and holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day we are closed).Main Purpose of Job:This is a key customer-facing role, reliably and respectfully representing the company, ensuring orders are properly fulfilled, committed to work safety, and passionate about satisfying clients. The Delivery Associate - Walker, as a field representative of the company, must be polite and prompt with a commitment to providing our clients with excellent experience, every time. The Delivery Associate - Walker deliver parcels to customer instructions up to 50 pounds, safely, and efficiently to designated locations within Queens within a set timeframe.Essential Job Responsibilities:Load hand trucks and deliver packages (up to 50 lbs) by foot in all weather conditions, efficiently, safely, and punctuallyFollow strict safety standards and practices throughout all delivery stages from package pickup, transport, and deliveryOperate an electronic device/mobile phone for GPS and daily records of deliveries using appsContact the customers, when necessary, in order to deliver their packages in a safe location and follow their directionInteract with customers and the public in a professional and positive mannerYou can expect to report to one of several anchor points to pick up your first route and then meet at 2 additional anchor points timelyWe provide on-the-job training so that all of our employees feel confident on the streets and the doorsteps of customers.Roman Empire Logistics LLC is a New York State certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business and a Minority Owned and Operated Delivery Service Partner (DSP).
