Ensure customer service standards and shipping guidelines are upheld while filling customer orders.\nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS\nNavigate the computer system to view orders placed through the company website.\nPull orders when necessary, both quickly and accurately, from the location listed on the tickets.\nPrepare boxes, generate and assess labels, packing list, and customer requirements so that the product is shipped within the time allotted.\nCarefully count and pack the parts error free.\nMaintain a good rapport with other departments in the warehouse so replenishments, staging, or assistance of any kind is available.\nMaintain constant communication with the Operations Manager and City Counter.\nKeep all logs neat and legible.\nInspect boxes that are torn to ensure the part is in good condition. Re-box or re-label as necessary so we can safely ship out the part and ensure it will not be damaged during transport.\nFollow shipping and packing guidelines per UPS regulations and requirements.\nMaintain safety standards while operating and identify unsafe practices and situations.\nMaintain a clean work area for efficiency as well as any powered equipment that may be utilized to complete job functions.\nAll other duties assigned by DC Management Team.\nSKILLS/EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES\nRequired:\nAbility to write numbers and letters clearly and legibly\nStrong knowledge of PC Skills\nAbility to accurately read and match numbers, words, and numbers from various sources including print labels\nProven excellent customer service skills\nMust be able to work closely and well with others in a team environment\nDesired:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent (GED)\nExperience with picking and packaging product\nPrior warehouse and powered equipment experience\nAdvanced computer skills\nShipping experience using USPS/UPS preferred\nFluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)\nO’Reilly Auto Parts has a proven track record of growth and stability.
