This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Lone Tree office.\n\nDatabase Developer - Mid-Level - Job Description:\nThe Intelligent Planning and Analytics team is seeking a hands-on Data Engineer to support the development of modern data products and AI-enabled analytics capabilities. This role focuses on designing and building Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) data marts and supporting data pipelines in Google Cloud Platform, as well as maintaining an existing digital marketing data mart for business intelligence and analytics.\n\nDatabase Developer - Mid-Level - Responsibilities:\n\nDesign and build scalable AEO data marts in Google Cloud Platform.\nDevelop automated pipelines that ingest data from third-party AEO vendor APIs.\nUse Python to build reusable API integrations, extraction processes, and data-transformation components.\nWrite complex SQL from scratch to transform, integrate, validate, and prepare AEO data.\nMaintain, troubleshoot, and enhance the digital marketing data mart.\nDevelop reusable datasets that support BI dashboards, recurring reporting, and ad hoc analytics.\nCreate clear technical documentation for data marts, pipelines, APIs, and analytical datasets.\n\nDatabase Developer - Mid-Level - Mandatory Skills:\n\nAdvanced SQL skills, including the ability to write complex SQL from scratch.\nProficiency in Python for API integration, data extraction, automation, and transformation.\nHands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform and cloud-based data services.\nExperience integrating data from REST APIs or other third-party interfaces.\nExperience building data marts or other curated analytical data products.\nStrong technical documentation and communication skills.\nAbility to work independently and manage priorities across multiple related initiatives.\n\nDatabase Developer - Mid-Level – Nice-to-Have Skills:\n\nExperience building data products for Answer Engine Optimization or related areas.\nExperience with Adobe Analytics, clickstream data, or other event-level digital behavioral data.\nExperience with modern analytics-engineering technologies, including dbt, dlt, and DuckDB.\nExperience with business intelligence and analytics platforms such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.\nPrevious experience in financial services or another highly regulated industry.\n\nDatabase Developer - Mid-Level – Assignment Length:\nThis is a contract position.\n\nDatabase Developer - Mid-Level - Start Date:\nASAP.\n\nDatabase Developer - Mid-Level - Assignment Location:\nLone Tree, Colorado, United States.
