Make a Difference, Be a Hospice Volunteer!

Did you know that you CAN make a difference in the life of a terminally ill patient?Affinis Hospice is looking for caring people to offer companionship to our patients. There is no experience necessary, we will train you and be there to support you on your volunteer journey. Do you have special talents you would like to share? Art? Music? Pet Therapy? We would love to discuss how your talents can add more life to each day for our patients and families.Volunteers can:Provide companionshipProvide caregiver relief servicesAssist with activitiesRun patient errandsAssist with in-office duties: answering phones, making copies, etc.Participate in community activitiesProvide personal care for patientsPrepare light mealsSupport with light housekeeping or yard workProvide grief supportVolunteers are truly appreciated and valued, as part of our team.
