If you want to contribute to meaningful work and be part of an organization that truly believes when you win, we all win, and when you fail, we all learn, then we’re eager to hear from you.\n\nThe achievers and courageous challenge-crushers we seek, have the following characteristics and skills:\n\nWhat You Will Do:\n\nDevelop detailed inspection plans for aerospace components and assemblies, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, engineering specifications, and regulatory standards\nCollaborate with design and engineering teams to define the most appropriate inspection methods and criteria for new parts, assemblies, and systems\nIdentify and select suitable inspection tools, techniques, and measurement equipment (Vernier, micrometer, radius optical, gaging, etc.)\nEstablish acceptance criteria and tolerances for aerospace products based on engineering drawings, material specifications, and industry standards\nCreate and maintain detailed inspection reports, documentation, and records, ensuring that all inspection activities are traceable and compliant with regulatory requirements\nDevelop inspection records that support traceability and certification, including first article inspections (FAI), in-process inspections, and final inspections\nEnsure that all inspection processes adhere to aerospace industry standards, including AS9100D, AS9102C, FAA and DCMA regulations, and customer-specific requirements\nSupport internal and external audits related to inspection processes and quality assurance systems\nInvestigate and perform root cause analysis for any quality issues or inspection failures, using tools such as 5 Whys, PFMEA, and Fishbone diagrams\nLead initiatives to improve inspection processes, reduce inspection times, and increase the accuracy and reliability of inspections\n\nWhat You Will Bring:\n\nRequires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience\nKnowledge of engineering drawings, tolerances, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)\nUnderstanding of inspection tools and equipment (calipers, micrometers, radius gages, etc.)\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis and propose corrective actions\nGood working knowledge of Quality Management System QMS, AS9100D, and AS9102C requirements\nProficient in Microsoft Office applications\nEffective communication and interpersonal skills\n\nPay Range: $74,000 - $79,000 per year\n\nCompensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure.
