You will collaborate with a teams of engineers and data scientists to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software products that meet the highest standards of quality, scalability, and reliability.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign and develop scalable, efficient, and reliable software applications using Python\nParticipate in design reviews, code reviews, and pair programming to ensure high-quality code and knowledge sharing\nStay up-to-date with the latest software engineering trends, tools, and technologies\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products, ensuring seamless integration and deployment\nContribute to the development of new codebases that emphasize object-orientation, modularity, and maintainability\nRequirements:\nUS citizenship and the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance (Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI)\nExpertise in Python\nStrong understanding of relational databases and version control systems (e.g., Git)\nExperience with Docker, Docker-compose, or Kubernetes\nFamiliarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum or Kanban) and microservice architecture\nStrong communication skills and self-motivation\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or significant professional experience)\n5+ years of software development experience\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)\nKnowledge of Spark or PySpark\nBackground in mathematics or computer science\nExperience with DevOps tools and practices\nFamiliarity with containerization technologies\nExperience or desire to lead technical teams\n\nThe team at MORSE takes pride in being the smart team that is easy to work with.
