LV and MV Cables, Generator Protection, Electrical Load List) in projects.\n\nJob Responsibilities\n\nProvide technical support during design/execution phases of project.\n\nCoordinating engineering support with interfacing organizations such as sourcing, services, gas / steam / gen requisition engineering, global engineering, and equipment suppliers.\n\nLead and carry out the design and engineering and of Shipped Direct (MSD) equipment (i.e. Electrical Compartments, Motor Control Center, Medium Voltage Excitation and Static Start Isolation Transformers, 52G Generator Breaker, Neutral Grounding equipment, Generator Protection) on new unit Gas or Steam turbine generators.\n\nPartner with requisition management to reduce requisition cycle and improve requisition process from order definition through commercial operation.\n\nCommit to and meet on-time performance targets of internal engineering and customer deliverables.\n\nLead Generator and Electrical equipment discussions at customer meetings, both domestic and globally.\n\nDrive requisition goals and objectives.\n\nResponsible for strategy of how to handle risk and drive mitigation for the same for Electrical scope in the projects.\n\nInterpret and implement contract requirements and design practices.\n\nPartner with compliance team to ensure design in accordance with codes / standards.\n\nReview customer contracts and complete equipment design reviews.\n\nPrepare Gas/Steam turbine's one-line diagrams.\n\nDevelop individual equipment ordering specifications depending on the scope.\n\nReview Electrical Wiring Diagrams for interconnects.\n\nIssue As-shipped/As-issued drawings to the customer based on changes.\n\nWrite ordering specs, review bid proposals and outline and electrical drawings for,\n\nIso and EX transformers, GCB or MV SWGR, Neutral Terminal Enclosure, and Generator Line Enclosure (GLAC)\n\nPrepare, develop, and review electrical cabling and interconnection deliverables for Gas and Steam turbine units.\n\nDevelop Cable Drawing, Interconnection Drawing, and Compartment Interconnections.\n\nWhat You Will Bring\n\nBS or MS in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited university or college.\n\n5 to 15 years of experience in Generator electrical components and/or Power generation.\n\nKnowledge of Industry Codes and Standards such as NFPA/ANSI/UL/CE is
