Candidates are expected to have the equivalent\nof 5-10 years of related work experience.\nThe qualified candidate must be capable of supporting electronics specification, design, development,\nand production of complete products and systems. The candidate must demonstrate an understanding\nin the use of various software tools supporting various functions in electrical engineering including but\nnot limited to analog and digital design, timing analysis, board layout, and board-level RF analysis.\nThe responsibilities for this position will include:\nPerform electrical and related designs for product development\nSupporting system design and integration into airborne, ground, mobile and fixed-site\napplications\nSupporting system requirements development, test planning, integration and test execution\nDesigning electrical hardware and generating parts drawings, assembly drawings, and bills of\nmaterials\nDeveloping packages to support the outsourcing, manufacturing and acceptance testing of\nelectronics boards and components\nCoordinating with embedded software developers for product designs\nMinimum Qualifications Include:\nBS in electrical engineering or equivalent work experience\n5-10 years of relevant experience\nUnited States of America citizenship\nAbility to acquire a U.S. Department of Defense security clearance\nDemonstrable written and verbal communications skills\nUse of engineering tools such as Altium, Visio, Excel, or equivalent\nAbility to work independently and within small groups\nAbility to travel occasionally for work, including working potentially austere or hazardous\nconditions\nPreferred Qualifications Include:\nDemonstrated experience in the following:\nDigital circuit design and analysis, including state of the art microprocessors, memories and related componentSchematic capture using tools such as Altium or equivalent\nLow voltage power supply analysis and design for printed circuit boards\nElectronics simulation, modeling, and timing analysis\nFamiliarity / Knowledge / Experience in one or more of the following technical areas:\nCommercial product production processes\nIndustry certification standards and processes, both commercial and defense related\nBoard level component layout\nExperience with system engineering\nExperience with Design for Testability and Design for Manufacturability\nIntegration, troubleshooting, and testing experience\nVerification and validation of products to applicable standards like DO-160 or DoD/USG standards\nDoD Secret or Higher Clearance\nFormer Military Experience or experience with Mission Engineering\nAbility/Interest in working cross functionally to include within the systems and software engineering function\nExperience with software development or scripting\nWork environment:\nWork will be performed in an office environment, with potential work in hangars, industrial,\nand/or field sites\nThis is an on-site job.
