We call it the IT DIF.SummaryAs a full-time Professional Services Systems Engineer (L3) Solutions, you will use your knowledge, problem solving skills and expertise to successfully implement new technologies within approved timelines and budgets exercise leadership in technology best practices while interacting with clients and team membersThis is an on-site, full-time (M-F, 7am - 5pm) position with occasional evening/weekend work for time sensitive projects.Daily you will proactively:Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and on budgetAssist in the definition of project scope and objectivesCreate and maintain comprehensive project documentationBuild net configurations and connectionsEstablish networking environments by designing system configuration and directing system installationDefine, document and enforce system standardsDesign and implement new network solutions and/or improve the efficiency of current networksInstall and configure network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP technical skillsConfigure firewalls, routing and switching to maximize network efficiency and securityConfigure and install backup solutions for data protection, disaster recovery and failover proceduresPerform major system and application upgradesSupport other team members with occasional coverage needs To thrive in this role you must have:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and or a minimum of 5 years working in a relevant information technology (IT) sectorHands on advanced experience in Windows client and server operating systems, PowerShell/Scripting, Azure, Microsoft 365, Active Directory Management, firewalls, switching, routing, SANs/storage, server hardware, Exchange, backup technologies, and Certificate ServicesProactive in keeping up with industry trends and standardsStrong communication skills, professional and technical, verbal and non-verbalStepUP IT offers a robust compensation and benefits package that includes:401 (K) retirement plan with a 4% employer match. Medical, dental and vision insurance packages with shared premium costs the first day of the month following 30 days of employment. Generous Paid Time Off accrual plus an additional 6 paid holidays a year. Tuition coverage for eligible education and training. Cell phone and internet stipends up to $100 per month.
