Responsibilities
Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of service, food quality, and cleanliness are maintained at all times
Lead and motivate staff through effective training, coaching, and development initiatives to enhance team performance
Manage shift schedules, coordinate staffing levels, and ensure proper coverage during busy hours for seamless service delivery
Monitor inventory levels, control food costs, and oversee food preparation and presentation to meet quality standards
Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; perform cash handling duties with integrity
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation procedures to guarantee a safe environment for staff and guests
Assist in interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new team members while fostering a culture of hospitality and teamwork
Support budgeting activities, monitor expenses, and implement strategies to optimize operational efficiency
Supervise kitchen operations including food production, catering services, bar management, and overall food handling processes
Address customer inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure a positive dining experience that encourages repeat business
Skills
Proven experience in restaurant management or assistant manager roles within quick service or fast food establishments
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary standards across casual dining or fine dining environments
Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; excellent cash handling skills
Expertise in inventory control, food safety practices, and kitchen management procedures
Exceptional leadership abilities with experience in staff training, supervising teams, and conducting interviews
Solid understanding of food industry operations including catering, banquet services, bar management, and hospitality management
Excellent communication skills coupled with a customer-focused approach to service excellence
Ability to manage shift schedules effectively while maintaining high standards of food quality and safety
Experience with budgeting, cost control measures, and food production processes
Familiarity with hospitality environments such as hotels or coffee shops is advantageous

Pay: $10.00 - $14.00 per hour
