About the Role We're seeking a well-rounded HR Generalist who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both strategic and operational HR work and is comfortable leveraging AI and emerging technologies to drive efficiency and elevate the employee experience, while partnering closely with our People Coordination team. You'll support core HR functions while driving execution across key People programs, processes, and initiatives. With a strong focus on HR operations and employee support, you'll leverage AI tools and modern solutions to streamline workflows, enhance the employee experience, and continuously improve how work gets done across the People function. Location: Dallas, TX Work Environment: Hybrid - In office Monday, Wednesday & Thursday What Your Days Will Be LikeServe as a trusted HR partner to employees and managers, providing guidance on HR policies, processes, and best practicesPartner closely with the People Coordination team to execute and improve core People programs (onboarding, offboarding, performance cycles, engagement initiatives, and compliance processes)Support day-to-day HR operations including employee records, HRIS (Workday) updates, and process administrationAssist with employee relations matters, ensuring a thoughtful, consistent, and compliant approachPartner with and support new and developing managers on performance management best practices, including coaching, feedback, and navigating employee issuesProvide HR support to a non-exempt employee population, ensuring consistent application of policies, timekeeping, and compliance with wage & hour regulationsHelp streamline and scale HR processes, documentation, and workflows for efficiency and consistencyLeverage AI tools and automation to improve day-to-day workflows, reporting, employee communications, and process efficiencyIdentify opportunities to enhance People programs through data insights and emerging technologiesSupport benefits administration and respond to employee questions related to policies, payroll, and programsProvide occasional support to Talent Acquisition (e.g., interview coordination or candidate experience), as neededContribute to building a positive and high-performing culture What You'll Need to Succeed3-5+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar HR roleStrong foundation in HR operations and employee support, with experience partnering with People/HR coordination or operations teamsExperience supporting frontline or non-exempt populations and advising managers on performance management and employee relationsWorking knowledge of wage & hour compliance and best practices for managing non-exempt employeesExperience using or experimenting with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, automation tools, HR tech with AI capabilities) to improve productivity and workflowsCuriosity and willingness to adopt new technologies to optimize HR processes and employee experienceProven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environmentStrong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with a service-oriented mindsetExperience with Workday (HRIS) and comfort navigating HR tools and systemsProactive, adaptable, and solutions-oriented Company Overview Available in more than 20 countries, Care.com is the world's leading platform for finding and managing high-quality family care. Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 - The base salary range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the national salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Care.com's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and short- and long-term incentives.
