This role reports directly to the Supply Chain Manager.\n\nPosition Responsibilities:\n\nSources within commodity strategies to ensure cost, quality and delivery targets are achieved\nSupports product development team through on-time sourcing\nAchieves best in class pricing and builds supplier relationships through fact-based negotiation\nManages Procurement team’s deliverables for select program launches\nCoordinates activities involved with procuring goods, such as raw materials, tools, parts and supplies to support the company’s needs\nMaintains and improves departmental procedures\nCollaborates with suppliers and cross-functional colleagues to determine the root cause of supply disruptions and implement appropriate corrective actions\nOther duties as assigned\n\nQualifications:\n\nBachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university in a related field of study\n3-7 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment; electronics background desirable\nExperience in applying analytical skills to negotiate successfully with supplier\nDemonstrate ability to take the initiative in a dynamic, cross-functional environment\nExperience sourcing products in Asia a plus\nAdvanced understanding of Microsoft Office products as well as ERP systems\nExcellent communication skills.
