The role will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, leveraging robust analytical and market intelligence insights to advise on business-critical decisions.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nEnable and drive the Commodity Intelligence & Analytics capability, integrating market intelligence, commodity risk analytics, financial modeling, and inventory portfolio insights into a cohesive operating model for Procurement decision-making.\nTranslate market, supplier, competitive, cost intelligence, geopolitical, and macroeconomic signals into actionable risk indicators, sourcing recommendations, and executive narratives.\nDeliver recurring market intelligence outputs, including daily market briefings, weekly market narratives, monthly market supply outlooks, and quarterly strategic outlooks for sourcing strategies.\nOwn commodity cost forecasting and risk analytics, including 18-month cost forecasts, confidence intervals, supply and demand elasticity models, and risk scoring.\nDevelop probability and risk-weighted pricing scenarios, supplier allocation forecasts, commodity cost outlooks, and market commentary to support Procurement, Finance, and business planning decisions.\nConvert commodity forecasts into business impact, including cash, P&L, margin sensitivity, and business planning deliverables.\n\nCore Deliverables\n\nMarket intelligence, including daily market briefings, weekly market narratives, monthly market supply outlooks, and quarterly sourcing strategy outlooks.\nMonthly commodity cost outlooks, probability and risk-weighted pricing scenarios, and supplier allocation forecasts.\nRolling 18-month commodity enterprise cost forecasts\nOther business decision support, executive-level reporting, business performance management, and sourcing analysis, as needed.\n\nRequired Experience and Capabilities\n\nAcademic degrees and professional experience in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or Applied Mathematics\nExperience translating industry, supplier, competitive, cost, geopolitical, and macroeconomic intelligence into actionable sourcing and risk management recommendations.\nStrong understanding of commodity markets, cost forecasting, statistical modeling, confidence intervals, supply and demand elasticity, and risk scoring.\nAbility to connect commodity forecasts to financial impact, including cash, P&L, margin sensitivity, budget assumptions, and long-range financial planning inputs.\nAbility to advise senior leaders on cost management, process improvement, tools, automation, governance, and execution cadence.\n\nPreferred Background\n\nCommodity analytics, market intelligence, competitive intelligence, sourcing strategy, category management, supply chain finance, procurement strategy, or cost intelligence experience.\nExposure to memory, storage, servers, CSP, mobile, PC, or adjacent technology markets.\nExperience working with third-party industry analysts, supplier intelligence, competitive intelligence, and cost teardown insights.\nFamiliarity with data science, statistics, commodity analysis, AI/ML-enabled forecasting, or financial modeling capabilities.\n\nPay & Benefits\n\nThe pay range for this role is $116,150 to $182,400 USD annually with additional\n\nopportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United\n\nStates of America candidates only).
