Staff Accountant
OverviewOur client is seeking a detail‐oriented Staff Accountant to join their growing finance team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, has strong analytical skills, and is looking to advance their career in a dynamic and supportive environment. The Staff Accountant will assist with general accounting duties including journal entries, reconciliations, month‐end close, and financial reporting.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and post journal entries accurately and timelyComplete monthly balance sheet reconciliationsSupport month‐end and year‐end close processesAssist with accounts payable and accounts receivable as neededHelp prepare financial statements and internal reporting packagesMaintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation entriesSupport audits by providing documentation and analysisIdentify and recommend process improvements for efficiency and accuracyQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field1–3 years of accounting experience preferredStrong understanding of GAAPProficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software a plusExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailStrong analytical and problem‐solving abilitiesAbility to meet deadlines in a fast‐paced environmentBenefitsBenefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‐term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401(k) plan.
