These agreements require a deep understanding of life-of-plan expectations, which the team delivers through an enterprise forecast simulation tool connecting contract requirements, time-on-wing, technical issues, cost, and other key drivers. The tool feeds aftermarket financial contract evaluations, new engine business and tactical fleet management. The ASEM organization is looking for a Modeling and Simulation Analyst to join the Aftermarket Modeling and Decision Intelligence team with a focus on forecast model development, validation, and enhancement to support current and future business needs.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nDevelopment of Python based Next Gen forecast simulation model including logic fixes, enhancements, and new feature creation.\r\nFollow established scrum process supporting on-going model releases, testing, validation, and ticket creation / closure.\r\nValidate model results through production process ecosystem.\r\nLeverage SQL, Python, Excel to create automation and process enhancement supporting model development and validation.\r\nLearn aftermarket business processes and support future state enhancements and optimization of simulation models to support business processes.\r\nEngage in process changes through CORE and the P&W leadership operating model.\r\nQualifications – Must Have\r\nBachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)\r\n5 years of engineering experience or 3 years with an advanced degree\r\nQualifications – Prefer\r\nProgramming proficiency and digital tool development experience\r\nSystems engineering experience and familiarity with commercial aircraft engines\r\nExperience in agile development projects\r\nPython proficiency with some object-oriented programming knowledge\r\nApplied experience working with large datasets and using SQL\r\nUnderstanding and/or eagerness to learn PW business processes and aftermarket financial ecosystem\r\nDemonstrated leadership and self-direction; willingness to both teach others and learn new techniques.\r\nEffective written and verbal communication skills.\r\nWhat We Offer\r\nBenefits\r\nRelocation Assistance\r\nEEO Statement\r\nRTX is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
