Working for Mitchell Contracting provides an environment where critical thinking skills and quality craftsmanship is highly regarded and where your contributions truly make a difference.\nResponsibilities\nExecute a wide range of carpentry tasks including framing, trim carpentry, and other general construction skills with precision and attention to detail.\nRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project plans.\nOperate hand tools, power tools and heavy equipment safely and effectively on various construction sites.\nConduct heavy lifting and physical tasks required for construction site activities while adhering to safety protocols.\nQualifications\nProven experience in construction, carpentry (including trim and framing carpentry), roofing, masonry or related fields.\nProficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment is essential.\nValid drivers license is required.\nProficient knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics interpretation.\nFamiliarity with water damage restoration techniques and mold remediation is advantageous.\nAbility to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail throughout all phases of construction or restoration projects.\nExcellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to adapt quickly on-site under varying conditions.\nKnowledge of electrical experience or plumbing work is a plus as subcontractors will be working with you.\nPrior experience working on construction sites with adherence to safety standards is required.\nJoin us as a skilled carpenter, where your craftsmanship drives excellence!
