You will serve as the owner of program execution—driving clarity, alignment, predictability, and accountability across engineering, product, operations, security, and government stakeholders.\r\nIn this role, you will ensure the successful delivery of complex, secure, and regulated software products by building structure where needed, managing risk proactively, and leading programs through ambiguity. You will operate at the intersection of technical execution and program leadership, maintaining authority over delivery plans, escalation paths, and cross-functional dependencies.\r\nRESPONSIBILITIES\r\nLead the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of Mosaic, our software product, for defense and government customers.\r\nOwn program execution: define delivery plans, manage scope and milestones, and drive accountability across engineering and cross-functional teams.\r\nServe as the primary delivery interface with internal teams and external stakeholders, including defense primes, government PMs, and contracting authorities.\r\nTranslate product requirements into actionable technical plans in partnership with Product, ensuring alignment with engineering architecture and mission needs.\r\nParticipate in architectural discussions, highlighting risks, identifying gaps, and ensuring decisions support delivery timelines, security posture, and system reliability.\r\nManage and resolve cross-team dependencies across software engineering, QA, security, compliance, and operations; maintain a real-time dependency map for all initiatives.\r\nTrack program performance using execution metrics (velocity, predictability, defect trends, release readiness) and drive continuous improvement.\r\nProactively identify and manage risks, tradeoffs, and blockers; elevate and recommend decisions when schedule, scope, or resources misalign.\r\nEnsure compliance with government standards and secure development practices (e.g., ATO, RMF, NIST800-171, DFARS).\r\nSupport proposal writing, contract execution, and customer briefings, including evolving requirements, baselines, and contractual milestones.\r\nThrive in a high-ambiguity, fast-paced environment, creating structure, clarity, and alignment where needed.\r\nRequired Qualifications\r\n5+ years of experience in technical program management, software engineering, or related technical leadership roles.\r\nProven track record leading execution of complex SaaS or mission-critical systems; experience with defense, aerospace, or dual-use technology strongly preferred.\r\nStrong technical understanding of distributed systems, cloud architectures, APIs, and secure software development practices.\r\nDeep familiarity with Agile/Scrum/Kanban processes and software lifecycle management.\r\nExceptional communication skills across technical and non-technical partners, including government stakeholders.\r\nExperience with regulated or compliance-driven environments (ATO, RMF, NIST800-53, DFARS, etc.).\r\nU.S. citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance if not already held.\r\nPreferred Qualifications\r\nExperience with Jira, Confluence, and other software tracking tools.\r\nFamiliarity with secure development practices and accreditation processes (ATO, RMF, etc.).\r\nBackground in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.\r\nPMP or Agile certification is a plus.\r\nCOMPENSATION\r\nBase Salary: $115,000 - $160,000\r\nEquity + Benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, HRA/HSA options, PTO and paid holidays, 401(k), Parental Leave.\r\nYour actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.\r\nADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS\r\nWork Location : This role is at Denver, Colorado Springs, Long Beach, or Washington DC.\r\nCompliance & Equal Opportunity\r\nTo conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.\r\nTrue Anomaly is committed to equal employment opportunity on any basis protected by applicable state and federal laws.
