This position requires strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.\n\nMonday-Friday 8am-5pm Overtime when needed\n\nPosition Summary:\n\nThe Data Processing Quality Control position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of data processing jobs before they are released to production. This role reviews and proofreads programmer output, verifies variable data and job specifications, identifies potential errors, and ensures required corrections are completed. The position works closely with programmers and Production to maintain accurate job documentation, communicate job status, and help ensure jobs are completed correctly and on schedule\n\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\n\nNone\n\nDuties/Responsibilities:\n\nProofread all outgoing proofs created by programmers for accuracy and completeness.\nVerify variable data is mapped correctly and matches job requirements.\nReview proofs for data, formatting, personalization, placement, and other job-specific requirements.\nCommunicate with on-site and off-site programmers regarding jobs, corrections, questions, and job status.\nSend and receive jobs from programmers and pull necessary paperwork as needed.\nPrepare jobs for final proofing on-site.\nCreate final production paperwork once approval has been received.\nAssume responsibility for proof distribution and laser output of programmer jobs.\nUpdate JOT status logs accurately and in a timely manner.\nRespond to inquiries regarding job status, problems, questions, and other job-related concerns.\nIdentify discrepancies or potential errors and communicate concerns before jobs are released to production.\nMaintain accurate and organized job documentation.\nWork closely with Data Processing and Production to help ensure jobs are completed accurately and on schedule.\nMaintain confidentiality of customer and variable-data information.\nMaintain professional communication and conduct at all times.\nMaintain a clean and safe working environment.\nConsistent and reliable attendance is mandatory.\nAssist and strategize with ongoing ERP system improvement plans.\nWork overtime when required.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nRequired Skills/Abilities:\n\nStrong attention to detail and ability to identify small differences or errors.\nAbility to read and understand job tickets, proofs, written instructions, and production specifications.\nBasic computer skills required.\nAbility to perform repetitive quality checks while maintaining accuracy and focus.\nStrong organizational and communication skills.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a production team.\nAbility to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.\nMust be dependable and willing to communicate quality concerns immediately.\nStrong quality-control mindset and attention to detail.\nAbility to compare printed output against approved specifications.\nAbility to recognize printing, data, sequencing, and finishing errors.\nGood problem-solving skills.\nAbility to communicate professionally with operators, leads, supervisors, and other departments.\nAbility to maintain accuracy while handling multiple jobs and priorities.\nUnderstanding of the importance of protecting confidential customer information.\n\nEducation and Experience:\n\n1-3 years quality control or data processing experience preferred\nBachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred\nPrevious experience in printing, production, quality control, or a related manufacturing environment preferred.\nDigital printing or variable-data experience is a plus.\n\nPhysical Requirements:\n\nAbility to stand and/or sit for extended periods.\nAbility to frequently use hands and fingers to handle printed materials and perform inspections.\nAbility to bend, reach, and move throughout the production area as needed.\nAbility to lift and move materials as required by the position.\nMust have sufficient visual ability to inspect printed materials for quality, accuracy, color, alignment, and other defects.\n\nMust be authorized to work in the United States and successfully pass a comprehensive criminal background investigation.\n\nFor more information and details, email Christy -cwhite@wearemoore.com You can also apply online at www.resource-one.us\n\nMoore is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
