Provide project status and updates on projects across campus. Assist with monitoring work request tickets, verifying security equipment functionality, website content development.\n\nThis position will also serve as the Department’s assistant UF identity management coordinator and maintain data related to faculty and staff identification in the UF Directory.\n\nOther administrative responsibilities include maintaining the Space Report and acting as the Department Security Administrator (DSA). Responsible for Asset Management and ensuring assets are accounted for, and Asset Identification Numbers are affixed to university property in accordance with university policies and procedures.\n\nOther duties as assigned.\nBackground Check Required.\nThis position requires a Class E State of Florida Driver’s License.\nNORMAL WORK SCHEDULE:\nNormal work schedule Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Total hours/week: 40.\nOccasional overtime is required. Off campus travel may be required.\n\nEXPECTED SALARY:\n$19.23 to $21.00 Hourly\n\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nBachelor's degree; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\n\nPREFERRED:\nAssociate degree in IT or Programming Technology, or an equivalent combination of experience in an appropriate area and two years of software helpdesk experience.\nExperience working at the University of Florida, and/or higher education preferred.\nBasic knowledge of an access control and/or video management system.\nStrong verbal and written communication.\nExcellent time management skills and ability to successfully manage multiple priorities. Experience in dealing with the public in a professional manner.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and accurately.
