Candidate will work closely with infrastructure and operations teams to administer MQ Queue Managers, troubleshoot production issues, and support ongoing platform enhancements.\r\nRequired Qualifications of the Senior Systems Programmer:\r\nApplicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.\r\nMinimum of 6 years of IT experience, including extensive mainframe systems programming experience\r\nStrong hands-on experience administering IBM MQ in a z/OS environment\r\nExperience creating, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting MQ Queue Managers and Queues\r\nProficiency with IBM Mainframe/zOS technologies and JCL\r\nExperience supporting enterprise messaging infrastructure in production environments\r\nStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills\r\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment\r\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\r\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered\r\nPreferred Skills/Experience of the Senior Systems Programmer:\r\nExperience with CICS\r\nKnowledge of IBM WebSphere MQ\r\nExposure to COBOL environments\r\nExperience working with Unix or zLinux platforms\r\nPrior experience supporting highly available enterprise infrastructure environments\r\nResponsibilities of the Senior Systems Programmer:\r\nAdminister and support IBM MQ services within enterprise mainframe environments\r\nCreate, configure, and maintain MQ Queue Managers and Queues\r\nMonitor queue performance, system health, and messaging activity\r\nTroubleshoot and resolve MQ-related incidents and production issues\r\nSupport MQ software installations, upgrades, and maintenance activities\r\nParticipate in operational support, infrastructure projects, and after-hours on-call rotations as needed\r\nWork Location: Hybrid work arrangement preferred with onsite support Tuesday through Thursday and additional onsite presence as needed in Columbia, SC.
