GLEZ Designs CAD Technician This position will work to support our company’s ongoing telecommunication projects through the utilization of AutoCAD by creating both underground and aerial construction drawings. The CAD drafter will be responsible for producing detailed drawings, plans and schematics to our company standards. Responsibilities: Creation of detailed drawings utilizing AutoCAD Research and communication between local municipalities, cities, and states’ recorded documents to acquire utility information, assessor maps, OSP records, etc. Revising drawings based on updated field and design information sent back from the customer or cities. Translating field survey notes to develop the necessary drawings Communication with supervisor to communicate statuses of current projects by utilizing the company trackers and software Utilizing databases such as Google Earth/Maps Utilizing customer databases, dependent on what is required from each specific company. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required One (1) to three (3) years of related experience required.
