The role combines hands-on engineering, solution architecture and client-facing consulting for VAR and Managed Service Provider engagements. You will design, implement, secure and troubleshoot enterprise networks and security solutions, lead proof-of-concepts and migrations, and support managed services operations. The ideal candidate is CCNP-certified (CCIE a plus), comfortable with both network and security technologies, and experienced working with VARs/MSPs and enterprise customers.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and deliver secure, scalable LAN/WAN network solutions and architectures for enterprise customers, including cloud networking (AWS VPC, Azure VNet) and virtualization (VMware/NSX).Configure, deploy and optimize routing and switching infrastructures using BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, VRRP, HSRP/GLBP and Spanning Tree variants (STP/RSTP/MST).Implement VPN solutions (IPsec Site-to-Site, SSL VPN) and remote access architectures and manage SD-WAN and QoS designs for performance-sensitive traffic.Deploy, configure and manage network security devices and services (firewalls such as Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point; NAT; ACLs; TACACS+/RADIUS; network segmentation).Perform network troubleshooting and packet analysis (Wireshark), flow analysis (NetFlow), and monitoring with tools such as SolarWinds and Nagios to identify and remediate issues.Lead onsite deployments, migrations and cutovers, run Proof-of-Concepts (POCs), and validate solutions in lab and production environments.Support managed services operations: incident response, change management, configuration management, backups, and automation using Ansible, Python and SNMP where applicable.Conduct network assessments/audits, produce clear documentation and diagrams, and make recommendations for high availability, disaster recovery and security hardening.Collaborate with sales and VAR partners to provide technical pre-sales support, solution architecture, scoping, and cost estimates for proposals and managed service offerings.Mentor junior engineers, transfer knowledge to customer teams, and maintain vendor relationships for escalation and TAC engagement when required.QualificationsActive/Current CCNP is required (CCIE a plus).   5+ years of hands-on experience as a Network Engineer and Security Engineer in enterprise or service-provider environments.Proven experience working for a VAR / Managed Service Provider and delivering customer-facing projects and managed services.Demonstrated knowledge of routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), MPLS, VLANs, Spanning Tree, HSRP/GLBP, NAT, DHCP, DNS, IPv4 and IPv6.Hands-on experience with Cisco security solutions (Cisco Secure Firewall, ISE, Umbrella) Palo Alto Networks technologies (Prisma Access, Global protect, PAN-OS...)Network & Security ProtocolsExcellent client-facing communication skills, ability to lead technical conversations, present solutions and mentor technical teams.
