We are seeking an organized, energetic, and mission-driven Program Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our youth development programs. This position reports directly to the Executive Director and plays a vital role in ensuring high-quality programming, exceptional staff leadership, and outstanding service to youth and families.\nPosition Summary\nThe Program Operations Manager is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of all organizational programs while ensuring excellence in program implementation, staff supervision, compliance, and community engagement.\nEssential Responsibilities\nProvide leadership and oversight for all organizational programs and daily operations. Supervise, mentor, coach, and evaluate program managers and staff.\nBuild and maintain a positive, collaborative, high-performing organizational culture. Ensure operational excellence across all programs.\nDevelop systems and processes that improve efficiency and organizational effectiveness.\nLead staff meetings, planning sessions, and professional development initiatives.\nEnsure programs are delivered with consistency, quality, and measurable impact. Oversee curriculum implementation, program scheduling, enrollment, attendance, transportation, and family engagement.\nCoordinate special events, educational experiences, workshops, and community initiatives.\nMonitor program outcomes and implement continuous quality improvements.\nRecruit, hire, train, supervise, and develop program staff.\nConduct coaching sessions and annual performance evaluations.\nDevelop staff schedules and ensure adequate program coverage.\nFoster professional growth, accountability, and teamwork.\nEnsure compliance with all federal, state, local, and grant regulations.\nMaintain accurate program records and documentation.\nPrepare reports and assist with grant reporting requirements.\nRepresent NLCDC at meetings, community events, and partnership opportunities.\nFoster positive relationships with parents and community partners.\nMinimum Qualifications :\nEducation: Bachelor's degree required in Education, Human Services, Nonprofit Management, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Public Administration, Youth Development, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.\nExperience: Minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience in youth development, education, nonprofit management, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience. Experience managing youth development programs preferred. Experience with grant-funded programs preferred.
