Electro Mechanic Technician
The Electro Mechanic Technician is responsible to execute Corrective Maintenance (Repairs) & Preventive Maintenance Procedures as well to support the Continuous Improvement Initiatives to guarantee Equipment Reliability. Always working efficiently following the Safety requirements to achieve Maintenance Indicators (Downtime, Preventive Maintenance Attained, PM Scripts Revision), Root Cause Analysis with countermeasures, Participate in New Equipment Installation, Troubleshooting (Mechanical, Electrical, Control). Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for following Safety Policies & Procedures.Responsible for Corrective and Preventive Maintenance Execution.Responsible for Ensuring Equipment Reliability. Responsible for Fixing and Solving Machine Failures.Responsible for Support Production Equipment and Plant Utilities.Develop Root Cause Analysis to identify and Solve Potential and Recurrent Machine downtimes. Responsible for Keeping the Machine in Operative Conditions.Responsible for Supporting Continuous Improvement Initiatives and Projects.Responsible for Documenting Maintenance Performed Activities.Adhere and Follow Food Industry Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's). Education and QualificationsMinimum Required: Technical career, Electromechanical, Mechatronics.5 years of Machines and Maintenance Experience. Preferred: Maintenance CertificateBachelor's DegreePhysical RequirementsPerforming Work from different HeightsClimbing Ladders, Scaffolding or Stairs Core CompetenciesPerforming Electrical Risk Assessments.Assessing Electrical Processes and Procedures Installing and Maintaining Electrical Systems, Equipment and Devices.Installing Electrical Conduits, Cables & Tubing Repairing Wiring Systems.Testing Equipment (Motors, Drives, VFD's) and Components (Sensors, Valves, Relays).Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).Knowledge of Safety Standards and Procedures.Commercial/Industrial Electrical Installation Experience.Experience in Electrical, Machine Controls and Mechanical field on Automated Equipment.Ability to Work Independently.Highly Collaborative.Able to read and Interpret Written Information. Problem Solving: Identifies and Resolves Problems in a Timely Manner; Gathers and Analyzes information Skillfully. Reading and Analyzing Blueprints and Schematics.Diagnosing Electrical System Malfunctions and Failures.Ability to distinguish between different colors for Wiring Tasks.Good Hearing and ability to Distinguish different Sounds.Following directions from Supervisors.Manufacturing Background in Bakery or Food Industry. Food Safety Responsibilities:Follow all relevant food safety rules including SQF, GMPs, and Food Defense.Report any observed food safety violations to your supervisor immediately.
