Typical project responsibilities focus on the execution of large‑scale projects with budgets in excess of one million dollars. Sound engineering fundamentals are required, and advanced process & manufacturing engineering concept development and implementation are expected. The ability to manage vended solutions as well as custom in‑house equipment designs is required. Full solution implementation is required from concept, to design, to project management, through execution and sustainment with minor coaching. This role is expected to lead multiple expansive projects at once.\nResponsibilities Report to the Capital Projects Manager, who is responsible for managing the site’s Capital budget.\nManage several large‑scale capital projects at one time in accordance with the site’s Annual Operating Plan (AOP).\nCoordinate the work activities for multiple functions to ensure project success.\nCollaborate with all levels of the organization and support the teams of your peers (Process Engineers, Quality Engineers, OperationalExcellence, Controls Engineers, Maintenance personnel, etc.).\nDesign manufacturing processes, equipment, and integrated solutions while understanding and working through production impacts upon implementation.\nManage project financials including budget generation, spend forecasts, ROI evaluations, etc..\nPartner heavily with maintenance personnel and contractors to facilitate equipment installation & commissioning.\nEnsure all requirements & deliverables defined within scoping documents and equipment agreements are met on‑time & under budget.\nAssess new opportunities for benefits and coordinate with the management on placement in the LRP (Long Range Plan).\nResponsible for all aspects of the project lifecycle: planning, scope definition, design, execution, and delivery.\nTrack progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, or other performance indicators, and prepare reports to senior management.\nPartner with Quality Engineers & Technicians to execute Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) for new equipment.\nEstablish robust equipment maintenance schedules & procedures to ensure machine longevity in alignment with plant Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) initiatives.\nAssist with the selection, negotiation, and managing of all activities regarding external consultants or vendors.\nPartner with the Corporate Purchasing team to draft effective contracts with suppliers to protect the business.\nPrepare and present capital requests for new projects.\nTrack progress of existing / completed projects to ensure deliverables are met.\nPresent progress updates to Plant and Corporate leadership.\nQualifications 5+ years of relevant & demonstrated experience within capital projects.\nBachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related degree required.\nPerforms work under general supervision.\nCollaborates well with all levels of the organization.\nPossesses both project management & project engineering skillsets.\nHandles moderately complex issues and problems.\nPossesses solid working knowledge of project planning, management, and execution.\nKnowledge of PTC Creo and execution from design through fabrication, whether sourced or fabricated in‑house.\nCompetent design of physical plant layouts and proficiency with AutoCAD.\nWillingness to travel based on project needs and vendor locations, primary location is on‑site at LCN.\nAbility to work as part of a team.\nExcellent oral and written communication skills.\nAbility to build collaborative relationships.\nAbility to identify and seek needed information/research skills.\nProject scheduling skills.\nAbility to foster teamwork with no command directives or direct employee oversight.\nProject management skills.\nHighly organized & detail oriented.\nBenefits Allegion is a Great Place to Grow your Career if: you’re seeking a rewarding opportunity that allows you to truly help others, with a culture that promotes work‑life balance and a generous paid time off program.\nHealth, dental and vision insurance coverage.\nUnlimited Paid Time Off.\n401K plan with a 6% company match and no vesting period.\nHealth Savings Accounts (HSA).\nFlexible Spending Accounts (FSA).\nDisability Insurance – Short-Term and Long-Term coverage, paid for by Allegion.\nLife Insurance – Term life coverage with supplemental options.\nTuition Reimbursement.\nVoluntary Wellness Program offering up to $2,000 in rewards.\nEmployee Discounts through Perks at Work.\nCommunity involvement and opportunities to give back.\nCliftonStrengths assessment & coaching.\nCompensation Expected Base Salary Range: $90,000.00 – $110,000.00.
