This role is responsible for driving integrated program planning, governance, executive reporting, and cross-functional coordination across multiple workstreams. Contract Type: Contract (30 weeks, with potential extension)Work Location: Remote (Chicago-based assignment)Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM CSTTravel: None anticipatedCore ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain an integrated master program plan, including milestones, dependencies, critical path activities, and cross-functional handoffsEstablish and manage program risk and issue registers, including mitigation planning, ownership tracking, and escalation processesConsolidate updates from multiple workstreams into executive-level status reports and dashboardsStandardize reporting metrics, templates, governance routines, and program documentation across teamsIdentify and manage cross-workstream dependencies, execution risks, and timeline impacts while driving issue resolutionCreate executive-ready PowerPoint presentations and leadership materials for weekly reviews, governance meetings, and steering committeesFacilitate governance forums by coordinating agendas, tracking action items, documenting decisions, and ensuring follow-throughRequired Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)7+ years of program management, PMO, or portfolio management experience within complex, cross-functional environmentsExperience building and managing integrated program plans across multiple workstreamsStrong expertise in program governance, risk management, issue tracking, dependency management, and escalation processesAdvanced PowerPoint skills with experience developing executive-level presentations and reporting materialsExcellent written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership and executive stakeholdersExperience consolidating large volumes of project information into concise executive summaries and status reportsStrong analytical, organizational, and project coordination skills with exceptional attention to detailPreferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves)PMP certification or similar project/program management certificationCybersecurity-related certifications or experience supporting cybersecurity initiativesExperience facilitating Steering Committees (SteerCos), executive reviews, or governance forumsExperience supporting enterprise-wide transformation programs or strategic initiativesExperience working within large, highly matrixed organizationsFamiliarity with AI-powered productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or similar technologies for meeting documentation and action trackingExperience standardizing reporting frameworks, governance processes, and performance metrics across multiple teamsKey Competencies & BehaviorsHighly structured and disciplined approach to managing complex programs and competing prioritiesStrong business judgment with the ability to distill complex information into actionable executive insightsProactive and accountable, with the ability to drive follow-up and resolution across stakeholdersEffective relationship builder capable of influencing and coordinating across cross-functional teamsPolished communicator with strong executive presence and presentation capabilitiesWork EnvironmentLocation: Remote (Chicago-based assignment)Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM CSTCompensation & BenefitsPay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $55.00 and $65.00 per hour.
