Join us as we continue to provide solutions to our customers and the world!\r\nThe Role:As the CNC Programmer, you will join our drilling team and support by programming CNC machines using engineering blueprints.\r\nYour Responsibilities:Obtains jobs from and coordinates program due dates with production planners.\r\nReviews drawings for any special machine tooling or fixture requirements\r\nPlaces orders for special tooling or fixtures through manufacturing engineering; follows up to ensure on-time availability.\r\nPrograms parts using Gibbscam software.\r\nPrepares final program using the CNC post processor and delivers to CNC Departments.\r\nPrints and assembles work order packets for CNC jobs and delivers to CNC Machine Operators.\r\nWorks closely with the CNC Machine Operators to determine tooling feeds and speeds; adjusts as required.\r\nMaintains data files for all CNC programs by item part number; updates program files as necessary with the corrected revision level programs.\r\nWorks individually and as part of a team to develop and implement quality and efficiency improvements; maintains cooperative relationships with employees at all levels.\r\nEstablishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships; training and teaching others.\r\nMaintenance of a clean and orderly work area free of excess materials.\r\nSupport of and involvement in company, department, and/or safety policies, procedures, programs and activities.\r\nOur Requirements:High school diploma or general education degree (GED); with six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience with CNC operation and metal machinability.\r\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, proportions and decimals. Ability and understanding of various measuring devices in meeting drawing dimensions and specifications.\r\nAbility to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, work orders, work instructions, diagrams, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
