What You'll Bring: Board Certification in Cardiology, with specialization in Non-Invasive practices Proven expertise in performing and interpreting electrocardiograms (EKGs) Strong clinical skills with the ability to handle inpatient, outpatient, and call responsibilities Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the capacity to supervise other healthcare providers Familiarity with EPIC EMR system is preferred Additional Skills That Are a Plus: Experience working in hospital-based cardiology programs Prior locum or temporary staffing experience Ideal Candidates: Medical degree from an accredited institution, with board certification in cardiology Active state medical license in Virginia or the ability to obtain one within a reasonable timeframe At least 2 years of clinical cardiology experience preferred Other Requirements: Commitment to local practice, with preference for providers residing in or near Richmond Ability to start coverage promptly, with availability from April 28, 2026 Willingness to work full-time (Mon-Fri) plus call responsibilities This role offers competitive pay at $19.50/hour, weekly direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits, and a generous referral bonus program.
