This internship offers hands‑on exposure to the technical side of renewable energy development, including substations, grid interconnection, SCADA systems, and regulatory compliance.\n\nLocation: Denver, CO, Austin, TX, or San Francisco, CA (Hybrid)\n\nDuration: Early June – Mid-August (~10 weeks)\n\nSchedule: 40 hours per week\n\nPay: $20/hour\n\nWork Arrangement: Hybrid with occasional project site visits\n\nWhat You’ll Do\n\nAssist with reviewing technical drawings, equipment specifications, and project documentation\n\nSupport interconnection and facility study reviews\n\nHelp organize and maintain project documentation and engineering records\n\nParticipate in design reviews and project coordination meetings\n\nAssist with NERC compliance documentation and regulatory processes\n\nSupport SCADA Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and third‑party coordination\n\nHelp manage as‑built documentation and operational site records\n\nParticipate in site visits and project meetings when applicable\n\nSupport lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n\nCurrently pursuing (or recently completed) a degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Renewable Energy, or a related field\n\nInterest in power systems, substations, grid interconnection, or SCADA systems\n\nStrong organizational and communication skills\n\nAttention to detail when reviewing technical documentation\n\nFamiliarity with Microsoft Office tools\n\nInterest in renewable energy infrastructure and grid integration\n\n$20/hour | 40 hours per week\n\nHybrid schedule with occasional site visits\n\nOpportunity to present a final summary of your internship work\n\nThis role provides valuable exposure to grid integration and power system infrastructure within a global renewable energy company working to accelerate the energy transition.\n\nWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity.
