Director of IT & Data Operations

OverviewThe Director of IT & Data Operations is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing technology operations, data infrastructure, and cybersecurity across a multi-location organization. This position leads outsourced IT services, enterprise systems, business intelligence, and data governance to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable solutions that support business growth.This role requires a balance of technical expertise, vendor oversight, and data fluency, with the ability to translate system data into meaningful insights. The Director partners closely with finance, operations, and external providers to drive accountability, improve performance, and maintain a strong technology foundation.ResponsibilitiesManage relationships with third-party IT service providers, ensuring performance, responsiveness, and service qualityEstablish communication standards, accountability measures, and escalation proceduresOversee end-user support, system access, and hardware/software lifecycle managementSupport a distributed workforce across multiple locations, including field-based teamsEnsure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across systemsPartner with internal teams to support reporting and analytics needsOversee dashboards and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI)Maintain visibility into data flow across platforms and systemsOversee enterprise applications and ensure alignment across business unitsSupport system integrations and data connectivity between platformsLead technology integration efforts related to acquisitionsManage cybersecurity practices, policies, and risk mitigation effortsCoordinate audits, assessments, and compliance initiativesMaintain proper access controls and data protection standardsIdentify risks and communicate mitigation strategies to leadershipLead IT budgeting, forecasting, and planningIdentify opportunities for system and process improvementsAlign technology initiatives with business prioritiesQualificationsStrong leadership and vendor management skillsUnderstanding of IT operations within an outsourced environmentData-driven mindset with knowledge of system integrationsExperience with business intelligence tools and reportingKnowledge of cybersecurity practices and risk managementStrong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilitiesEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or related field8+ years of experience in IT operations, systems, or data/analytics leadershipExperience managing external IT vendors or service providersExperience in multi-location or high-growth environments preferredExperience with system integrations or acquisitions is a plusJ-18808-Ljbffr
