We've found tremendous value in collaborative problem-solving, so our team works from our SF office three days a week.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDrive the development of our frontend (Next.js / TypeScript), leveraging modern code-generation agentsArchitect and oversee the API/application layer, focusing on system integration, security, and data integrity\n\nDesign robust end-to-end product workflows, acting as the primary reviewer and quality gatekeeper for automated code contributions\n\nImplement strict automated testing and CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliability and safety of the features\n\nBuild and maintain:\n\nCustomer-facing UI for live operations and analytics\n\nInternal tools for configuring and deploying facilities\n\nCollaborate with product to translate high-level requirements into concrete workflows and implementations\n\nCollaborate with backend engineers to define and evolve API contracts and data interactions\n\nImprove performance, reliability, and maintainability of the frontend\n\nImplement and maintain frontend and API testing and CI workflows\n\nOwn authentication flows and system integration at the product layer\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nStrong experience with TypeScript and React (Next.js or similar)\n\nExperience building and maintaining API layers using backend frameworks (Python, Node, or similar)\n\n5+ years building and shipping production systems\n\nExperience owning end-to-end features or products, not just isolated components\n\nComfortable working across the stack (frontend + API layer)\n\nStrong ownership and product mindset, with the ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-moving environments\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nExperience building real-time or data-heavy applications (e.g., streaming, time-series, or analytics systems)\n\nExperience working with authentication systems (e.g., login flows, session management, SSO integrations)\n\nExperience working with systems deployed outside pure cloud environments (e.g., on-prem, edge, or hardware-integrated systems)\n\nHow We Work with Product & Design\n\nYou will often start from high-level product goals, not detailed specifications.
